Privacy Policy

The short version

• Your Daikin email and integration token stay on your device. The app talks straight to Daikin's cloud — they're never stored on or routed through our servers.
• The only thing we collect is the email address you give us if you join the update list, plus a little context about where you signed up.
• We don't sell your data, run advertising trackers, or build a profile on you.
• You can remove yourself from the list — and delete that data — at any time, in one click.

Your thermostat credentials

To control your Daikin One+, Thermo needs your Daikin account email and a Daikin integration token — a free, revocable key you generate from Daikin's own app. Thermo stores these locally on your device and uses them to communicate directly with Daikin's cloud service.

We never receive, store, or transmit your Daikin credentials, and we never see your Daikin password — a token means you never hand it over. You can revoke the token from Daikin's app at any time, which immediately cuts off Thermo's access.

The update list

If you join our list from this website or the app, we collect the email address you provide. Alongside it we store a small amount of context to make the list work:

• The source of the signup (for example, which page or screen you signed up from).
• The app version, if you signed up from inside the app.
• The date and time you subscribed, and a private unsubscribe token.

We use this only to send you Thermo release notes and product updates, and to let the developer know someone new has joined. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't share or sell it.

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing permanently deletes your record from our database. You can also email support@downloadthermo.com to be removed.

Purchases

Thermo Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment — we never see your card number or billing details. Apple may share limited, non-identifying purchase information with us so the app can confirm your purchase. Your purchase is governed by Apple's terms, and refunds are handled by Apple.

Service providers

Thermo relies on a small set of trusted services to function:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website and stores the update list. As with any web host, Cloudflare may process standard request logs (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
• Daikin — provides the thermostat integration your app connects to. Your use of your thermostat is also governed by Daikin's own privacy practices.
• Apple — distributes the app and processes purchases.

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Daikin. "Daikin" and "Daikin One+" are trademarks of their respective owners.

Data retention

We keep your email address only for as long as you're on the update list. The moment you unsubscribe, your record is deleted. We don't retain thermostat data — it never reaches us.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe and delete: use the link in any email, or email us, to remove your data.
• Revoke thermostat access: delete the integration token in Daikin's app.
• Ask us anything: for access, correction, or deletion requests, email support@downloadthermo.com.

Children

Thermo is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, note it in the app or on this site. Continuing to use Thermo after a change means you accept the updated policy.
